Vaccines Cause Autism – Debunked (Andrew Wakefield Exposed)

“Two years old – two and a half years
old – a child, a beautiful child went to have the vaccine and came back and week later got
a tremendous fever, got very very sick, now is autistic.” Autism is a lifelong developmental disability
that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others, and its prevalence
has dramatically increased over the last fifteen years, with it occurring in 1 in 150 in the
year 2000, but 1 in 68 in 2012. Now we’ve long known that the primary cause
is genetics. To name but a few examples, studies of twins
have found that if one twin is autistic, then the other has a 60 to 90% chance of also being
autistic; studies of siblings have found that if one child is autistic, then their subsequent
siblings stand an 18.7% chance of also being autistic; and studies have found that males
are two to five times more likely to be autistic, than females. However, genetics doesn’t explain the deeply
worrying increase in prevalence. But what does, at least to a very large extend,
is our capacity and willingness to diagnose the condition, rather than just labelling
people intellectually disabled. In fact, many experts are convinced that this
fact alone accounts for the increase, but other experts disagree – they are convinced
that something else (an environmental factor) is also contributing to the increase, but
they don’t know what… what they do know, however, is that it’s not the MMR vaccine. This, is Vaccines Cause Autism – Debunked. The assertion that vaccines cause autism was
first made in 1998, when British surgeon Andrew Wakefield and eleven other co-authors published
a paper for the peer-reviewed medical journal, The Lancet. Within, Wakefield asserted there is a strong
correlation between the MMR vaccine and autism, and suggested that parents avoid the MMR vaccine
as a protective measure. ,Naturally, this caused major concern among
scientists and the general public alike, and it lead to many enormous studies being conducted
with the aim of confirming Wakefield’s findings – but none of them did. Not one – zero. No matter the number of children studied,
the methodology used, the location of the study, or the agenda of the authors, not a
single study verified Wakefield’s finding, and this resulted in his paper being completely
discredited. What’s more is that in 2011, an investigation
conducted by the British Medical Journal revealed that Wakefield was being paid by lawyers who
were suing over alleged vaccine injuries, and that many of the parents of the children
within his study were themselves suing… which is a massive conflict of interest, and
one that he conveniently didn’t declare. Further still, Wakefield had insisted that
his study was approved by the institutional review board, but as it turns out, it wasn’t. In fact, he not only didn’t have permission
for his study, he gravely abused the children under his care by carrying out extensive invasive
procedures (which on occasion required three adults to hold down a child), and because
of this, Wakefield was entirely discredited as a scientist, and he lost his medical license
altogether. Now some would say that this is a somewhat
satisfying end to Wakefield’s fraudulent behaviour, but unfortunately, it isn’t. To many conspiracy theorists, Wakefield’s
story was (and still is) seriously delicious, because it can be easily spun in to a narrative
in which Wakefield exposed the evil scientists and governments of the world, and that they
reacted by discrediting his paper, disgracing him as a scientist, and producing hundreds
of fake government-funded studies to combat him (even though most studies aren’t funded
by the government). Now this might sound bizarre to you and me,
but this is the conspiracy theory… people genuinely believe that Wakefield is victim
and that every government and every scientist is unanimous out to get them. So, let’s step back a bit and elaborate
on some of the larger studies that I briefly mentioned before – just how convincing and
overwhelming are they? Well, to begin, in 2001 a study investigated
over 10,000 children from California from 1980 to 1994, and found a staggering increase
in autism by 373%, but a comparatively very low increase in MMR vaccine coverage, being
just 14%, which, by itself, strongly suggests that the two aren’t related, because if
they were, a correlation would be much more obvious. Moving on, in 2002, two massive studies took
place, one in Denmark that investigated over 537,000 children born from 1991 to 1998, and
the other in Finland that investigated 535,000 children between 1982 and 1996, and both of
them found absolutely no association between autism and the MMR vaccine… that’s a million
children investigated by these two studies alone… which is way more than enough to
discredit Wakefield’s fraudulent assertion that was based on just 12 children. Now there are many, many more studies I could
bring up, but at the risk of boring you, I’ll mention just one more within this video. In 2012, a systemic review (or a study of
studies), evaluated five randomised control trials, one controlled clinical trial, 27
cohort studies, 17 case-control studies, five time-series trials, one case cross-over trial,
two ecological studies, and six self controlled case series studies, which overall involved
14,700,000 children, and found no correlation between the MMR vaccine and autism… none… Seriously… we literally have one fraudulent
and discredited paper that illegally investigated 12 children, and whose authors were being
paid by lawyers wanting to find a connection between autism and the MMR vaccine, against
thousands upon thousands of peer-reviewed papers that have legally investigated tens
of millions of children from all over the world and have found no link between autism
and the MMR vaccine whatsoever… And it’s because of this that authorities
such as The National Autistic Society have publically stated that “There is no link
between autism and the MMR vaccine. We believe that no further attention or research
funding should be unnecessarily directed towards examining a link that has already been comprehensively
discredited. Instead, we should be focusing our efforts
on improving the lives of autistic people and their families.” And I couldn’t agree more… nor say it
any better. And so, to recap, those who maintain that
the MMR vaccine causes autism are the many studies mentioned throughout this video, believe
that every scientist and every government is in on a massive conspiracy, or / and they
have one hell of a confirmation bias – because they are completely under-valuing the mountains
of peer-reviewed evidence against their beliefs, while extremely over-valuing the tiny amount
of… well, fraudulent lies that support their beliefs… Look, I get it, we all get it, we want to
protect our children and it’s natural and right to have wanted to investigate this link,
but to continue to ignore the mountains of evidence to the contrary and to keep sinking
money and resources into searching for a link that very obviously isn’t there, is not
only wasteful, it’s deplorable. Some environmental factor may be contributing
to autism, but it isn’t the MMR vaccine, and someone needs to get this through to the
president of the United States.

100 thoughts on “Vaccines Cause Autism – Debunked (Andrew Wakefield Exposed)

  1. Among all the chatter I've heard about this issue, there's still one thing that really f**king pisses me off about these anti-vaxxers:
Let's just give them the benefit of the doubt, and it turns out there is a very small chance that vaccines cause autism (WHICH THEY DON"T!!!), and look at their logic: These antivaxxers would rather their child die of an easily treated medical condition than possibly get autism.
As someone who has known and worked with autistic people, this shows me how selfish and perverted the anti-vaxxer community really is.

  2. How can you explain autism epidemic then? More diagnosis? Bullshit. Autism is primarily a man-made medical condition, and in some cases, it can be cured through heavy metal dexoting and healthy diet. Vaccines are not necessarily harmful, but the way they made by Big Pharma makes them highly toxic because some preservatives and ingredients in vaccines are highly toxic. Vaccines do not just cause autism, they can cause every metabolic disease. Vaccine damage depends on epigenetic factors and your genetic structure. That's why not every kid that vaccinated become an autist or get sick. But it can cause different kinds of medical problems in later stages of life, including gastrointestinal diseases, cancer, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, inflammatory arthritis, immune diseases, neurological disorders, allergies and much more. And don't even start to talk about the benefits of vaccines which most of the time are minimal. There is a conspiracy, and there are real evil men that intentionally crippling and killing us for gaining more power. You can see me as a nut. But at least if you decide to vaccinate yourself or your child, don't do it before learning every material in the vaccines.

  3. LOL Another stupid vaccine autism video that gets nothing correct. I have know idea if the MMR causes autism, but this video is wrong on everything. Your very first statement in your writeup under your video is completely incorrect, "that vaccines cause autism was first made in 1998, when British surgeon Andrew". Wrong, see this study here. This is wayyy back in 1976 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/944354#%23 This says "Vaccination is recognized as having a starter function for the onset of autism". This theory has been around since vaccines started
Then your next statement is wrong as well. Did you actually read the retracted study? it did NOT say "there is a strong correlation between MMR and autism". Read the 'Discussion' section, it says "We did not prove an association between measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and the syndrome described. Virological studies are underway that may help to resolve this issue.

Wakefields problem was that later at press conference, he verbaly said it might be a good idea to go back to using the single measles vaccine until this is investigated further." That ended his career GSK had just come out that year with its version of the mmr, and that is the last thing they wanted to hear, so they hired Brian Deer to take Wakefield out.
–http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-388051/Scientists-fear-MMR-link-autism.html Wakefields study has been proved a number of times since. There was not enormous studies done to try and prove Wakfields studies, can I see them please. The links you provide above are totaly scatterbrained, they prove nothing.

  4. I do want to chime in just one little thing… It's not quite accurate that males have it more, they do, but part of the reason the ratio can be really skewed is that females are less likely to be diagnosed because the symptoms that are present are somewhat different than they are in boys, and doctors don't always realize that if they only look for the male symptoms, and often autistic girls are quiet, shy, and that goes in with the stereotype that girls are, and should be, and thus when one is, the bias leads to people not thinking that the girl has autism at first.

  5. Seeing as I am frequently called "Amerikota" as a nickname, it is becoming more and more a point of shame for me. The mere fact alone that my president would or even could assert that vaccines are somehow linked to autism is shameful. I am deeply worried about the state of the states. My homeland is being invaded by idiocy and there is no way I can except it.

  6. most people's minds aren't capable of the idea of statistics. they hear a case and they think a point is true. I personally ask them one of how many ? they can't answer…

  7. you should watch Stanley Plotkin's "the Godfather of vaccines" 9 hour supposition from Jan 2018 where he admits the IOM has released data saying there is insufficient evidence to say whether certain vaccines cause Autism (or other complications) or don't …… your video was very misleading and only when comparative studies are done between vaccinated and non vaccinated people (double blind placebo's), can one know if vaccines improve health or not, that is why HHS hasn't done them. Hairy assed boy you are, ignorant beyond my understanding.

  8. Vaccines can cause some children to develop autism.it can be one in a thousand or one in a million but the risk is there. I have 2 children with autism with all the symptoms dr Wakefield highlighted in his study.my 3rd child has not been vaccinated and is fine.so I truly believe vaccines cause asd.

  9. This one question always seems to stump pro-vaxers. " if vaccines actually work then why do you perceive non-vaccinated people as a threat". To say they will spread the illness to you is to say the vaccine doesn't work! So why get vaccinated???? There is a weird cult that wants to control and force people into receiving dangerous vaccines that are documented to randomely cause a variety of health problems and even death. Not saying they cause autism but it is fact that infants often die after receiving vaccines, as well as the fact that people often contract the disease/illness from the vaccine!!

  10. Im a father of twins and theyd be gettings vaccines even if mmr did cause autism. Id rather have an autistic child than not have my children

  11. This is absolutely nonsense. To say that there is no evidence of a link between vaccines and autism is ridiculous. We are way past that. There is copious amounts of documentation that the CDC knew about the link and was doing everything they could to hide and alter the data. You’ve really got to start looking deeper when you do “research”. To pretend that the pharmaceutical companies won’t do everything possible to protect their bottom line is plain ignorant. I hope all of you who have taken such a firm stance on this, without knowing the science behind it, admit which side of the fence you were on when we look back at this in 20 or 50 years. You too would have wanted to throw Galileo in jail for claiming that the Earth was a sphere.

  12. So how much is BIG PHARMA paying you to make this video ? ….. Did you get the job from their HELP WANTED AD's ?

  13. The whole twin studies piece of your video does not necessarily require genetics to be the main factor. What's going on in the mother's womb and her body (what she's being exposed to in her environment, etc.) could have just as big a piece to play.

  14. At 6:11 into this video, the presenters asserts that the paper titled "Vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella in children" concluded (in his words) "found no correlation between the MMR vaccine and autism", yet the actual paper's AUTHORS' CONCLUSIONS states "The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate. The evidence of adverse events following immunisation with the MMR vaccine cannot be separated from its role in preventing the target diseases." Both sentences are pretty clear and in no way support the presenter's assertion.

  15. Anti vaxxers represent the pond scum of society. Idiots who have too much time on their hands to read mommy blogs, and take their health advice from homeopathic “doctors” and GOOP.com. Selfish assholes who would rather we set our health standards back by a century and put millions of lives at risk because they don’t understand immunology and refuse to pull their heads out of their asses and see how much tremendous good vaccines have done for the world. It’s so damn sad that, in this day and age, where there are more highly educated people than ever before, a video like this needs to be made. Fuck anti vaxxers and all their pseudoscientific nonsense.

  16. I don’t believe vaccinations cause autism, but when you say no studies were able to show this correlation, that is not true. There were 30 studies that found the same thing. So you are incorrect in presenting this as fact.

  17. Andrew Wakefield did not abuse children. This was an article put out by Rupert Murdoch. Biopsies are taken routinely and it takes 2 secs to get another two biopsies. If you want to confirm a bowel condition you have to take biopsies a medical procedure that requires parent consent that's it! Also a large number of cases have been confirmed following MMR but of course you will be told it's a small number. Is it really a small number? And the increase in cases of autism? Vaccines at two months old? The benefits and the risks are not balanced here. The immune system will be overloaded with all these vaccines. Please listen to Andrew Wakefield's version of the facts!

  18. Wakefield noticed a 100 fold increase in Autism since the introduction of the MMR vacinne. He just advised his patients parents to continue with single shots for the time being as he felt the MMR needed further research.
At the time of his advice single shots were readily available. 6 month later single shots were removed from the market. They knew there were problems with the Jab, but persued the multiple route regardless on the assumption that if they didn't the public would never embrace it.
He was part of a team researching the subject. He alone published.
Wakefield and a Professor of medicine have since been exhonerated. Meaning they did no wrong. The medical profession let the children down.
    Not these Doctors.

  19. It is not a crime to suggest a correlation between vaccines and regressive autism. Studies investigating correlations between vaccines and regressive autism can not “replicate” the Lancet paper because the focus of that paper was Not MMR and autism, it was the novel finding of gastrointestinal dysfunction/disease in a case study of children with regressive autism. This co-morbid condition of autism first identified in the Lancet paper is now well accepted in the medical community, gastrointestinal dysfunction is in fact prevelant in children with regressive autism.

The paper had a single accuser, it was not a co-author, a scientific/medical professional, or a peer reviewer, in fact the papers’ sole accuser was a for-hire journalist, who manipulated a willing GMC panel to discredit the paper and it’s authors. The journalist had been working on his Wakefield expose’ well before the GMC hearings, and prior to 2011 when he began publishing a lengthy series in the persona of a non-involved party. Regardless, each of the GMC accusations were later litigated in 2012 in High Court, to wit the accusations against the Lancet publication were found to be untrue and subsequently overturned. The following is the unrefuted end to the Lancet paper saga…

“It was a clinically driven investigation which did not require Ethics Committee approval,” – Justice Mitting.

(The totality of the GMC findings rested on the assumption that the Lancet paper was project 172-96 – however, in reality this was a separate study to be commissioned by Wakefield, it was not the Lancet study)

“serious professional misconduct in relation to the Lancet children was in part founded upon its conclusion that the investigations into them were carried out pursuant to Project 172- 96 [Wakefields project]. The only explanation given for that conclusion is that it was reached ‘in the light of all the available evidence’, that was an inadequate explanation.” -Justice Mitting.

“Project 172-96 was never undertaken and that in fact, the Lancet twelve children's investigations [including procedures] were clinically indicated and the research parts [directed by Wakefield] of those clinically justified investigations were covered by Project 162-95 [the general permission given to Professor Walker-Smith in September 1995].” – GMC disposition, conceded by Justice Mitting.

“None of the five clinicians involved in the investigation of the Lancet children who gave evidence to the panel considered that they were following Project 172-96. None of the children fitted the hypothesis to be tested under Project 172-96,” -Justice Mitting.

“None of the children fitted the hypothesis to be tested under Project 172-96, in that none of them had both received a single or double vaccine. Project 172-96 was never undertaken.” -Justice Mitting.

“The panel’s finding that the description of the patient population [histories] in the Lancet paper was misleading would only have been justified if its primary finding that all of the Lancet children were referred for the purposes of research as part of Project 172-96 is sustainable. Because, for the reasons which I have given, it was not, this aspect of its findings must also fall.” – Justice Mitting.

“In every case investigations were followed by a discharge letter prepared by Dr. Casson which set out a diagnosis of the child's condition and by a recommendation for treatment”. “The discharge notes were appropriately amended.” -Justice Mitting.

“In each case, Professor Walker-Smith elicited gastrointestinal symptoms at his outpatients clinic. The finding that all four children “lacked a history of gastrointestinal symptoms” is wrong unless the panel intended only to refer to the contents of the referral letters.” -Justice Mitting.

“As Miss Glynn concedes, the reasons for the panel’s findings that colonoscopy, barium meal and follow through and lumbar puncture were not clinically indicated are wrong,” and “the finding that a lumbar puncture was not clinically indicated was not open to the panel and was wrong”. -Justice Mitting.

“Both on general issues and the Lancet paper and in relation to individual children, the panel's overall conclusion of serious professional misconduct was flawed…[there was] inadequate and superficial reasoning and, in a number of instances, a wrong conclusion… the medical records provide an equivocal answer to most of the questions which the panel had to decide”. “The panel’s determination cannot stand. I therefore quash it.” -Justice Mitting. (March 7, 2012).

    Justice Mitting also had this to say about the GMC panel itself;

“It [GMC] put its stretched meaning of the wording of part of the paper into his mouth and then found [entered a judgement against him] that it was irresponsible and misleading. This was not a legitimate finding.” – Justice Mitting.

“This [Lancet] paper does not bear the meaning put upon it by the panel. The phrase “consecutively referred” means no more than that the children were referred successively [to the Department of Paediatric Gastroenterology], rather than as a single batch. The words did not imply routine referral.” -Justice Mitting.

“there was distortion of evidence, inadequate analysis, inadequate and superficial reasoning and explanation, inappropriate rejection of evidence, ‘flawed’ and ‘wrong’ reasoning, and ‘numerous and significant universal inadequacies’…. Fundamental errors…[that]  go to the heart of the case. They are not curable. The panel’s determination cannot stand.”-Justice Mitting.

“Mr Justice Mitting called for changes in the way General Medical Council fitness to practise panel hearings are conducted in the future saying: "It would be a misfortune if this were to happen again." -BBC News http://www.bbc.com/news/health-17283751

  20. YOU GUYS ARE SO CONFUSED. YOU SUPPORT THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY BECAUSE OF VACCINES. THEN YOU HATE THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY BECAUSE OF CIRCUMCISION. YOU GUYS ARE SO FREAKIN LOST!

  21. Anyone else really has a problem when people justify their argument by saying "many experts" not hating just hate that argument would rather people list and reference the so-called "experts"

  22. UC DAVIS just came out with a study that showed very similar results to Wakefield. https://health.ucdavis.edu/publish/news/newsroom/12807

  23. Just to clarify, I have autism – specifically the high-functioning variety. One thing people overlook when talking about autism is that many tech companies employ people on the spectrum. When you have autism, you see the world in a very different way. For me, at least, concepts are easier to break into their core components, my best subject is EVERY SUBJECT, and everything seems very, painfully simple (I spent most of high school telling my teachers how they were wrong – and they were consistently wrong). The problem with autism isn't that it makes people dumb – it's that it makes them have difficulty interacting with other people. I was never very good at understanding concepts like "sarcasm," "emotion," "societal norms," et cetera. Many of them seem flawed and illogical, while others are to me as the concept of infinity may be to you – my brain simply isn't able to comprehend the very idea of such things. Autism isn't a detriment. We with autism are just not like you. So instead of hiding my autism, I introduce myself with, "Hi, I'm [name]! I have autism. What's your name?" I wear it as a badge of honor, because I'm in the one percentile of people with a brain that functions like mine does!

By the way, Albert Einstein himself was on the spectrum. Try telling me autism sucks now, hm? 😉

  24. According to US Vital Statistics, measles had a mortality rate of 0.2 per 100,000 in 1960. The measles vaccine was produced in 1963. Since then, mortality rates from measles in the United States have largely remained the same. The "global statistics" we keep being given are from third world areas like Africa. The measles is a terrible think to contract when you're malnourished. Vitamin deficiencies, especially deficiencies in Vitamin A, significantly raise the mortality rate of measles. We have not had this problem in the United States since the Industrial Revolution provided more and more people with greater access to proper hygiene, nutrition and clean water. Measles, for the past few decades, has been largely an innocuous disease, of which natural immunity was achieved through exposure and deferred immunity took place during gestation when antibodies were passed from the mother to the child, this is known as natural heard immunity which acted as a protective barrier for newborns to boost their immunity during their infancy until their immune systems were built up enough to handle natural exposure. People who vaccinate lose those natural antibodies and we're now finding that babies from vaccinated parents are at a much higher risk of contracting the measles, we've effectively begun the process of destroying natural heard immunity and are becoming dependent on vaccine administration. Nature abhors a vacuum, eventually the virus will mutate and break the barrier of immunity that vaccines were created for. This is how superbugs come about, and when this happens, we will not have the to immunity to handle it. Look at the statistics regarding measles, mumps and rubella. Move beyond the media hysterics and see just how innocuous these viruses had become before the vaccines were created. Japan banned the MMR vaccine for a reason. If children in developed nations WERE dying from these viruses, I would not question the necessity of the vaccines. Why are we not being given the whole, unabridged truth when it comes to the statistics reflecting supposed "dangers" of the measles, mumps and rubella? If anybody would care to provide insight in the form of a cohesive argument and not just a mouth-breathing ad hominem attack, I would very much appreciate hearing it. I'm not anti-vaccine, I'm just questioning the necessity of the MMR vaccine.

  25. To those who support Andrew Wakefield. I am a British doctor and please consider the following facts before lending your support to Andrew Wakefield. His original study, published in The Lancet (link attached a bottom), had only a sample size of 12. Just 12 patients. As far as epidemiological studies go (which assess determinants of health and disease in a population), a sample size of 12 is microscopic and highly unlikely to be of any statistical significance. They even concluded: "We did not prove an association between measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and the syndrome described". Hardly surprising. Yet this study received mass media attention. Since this study, countless epidemiological studies assessed the relationship between the MMR and Autism, the number of studies that found a link: ZERO.
It was later revealed that a number of the patients in this study were recruited by a lawyer who was preparing a lawsuit against the MMR manufacturer. An enormous conflict of interest that was NOT declared. Furthermore, Andrew Wakefield was paid £400,000 by this lawyer which he also did not declare (reference at bottom). This study would have never seen the light of day, had Andrew Wakefield declared these conflicts of interest.

Subsequently, he was subjected to a "Fitness to practice" hearing and stuck off the UK General Medical Register for being dishonest, accepting payments which he failed to declare, failing to obtain ethical approval for his research…. and so on….
    The aftermath?
Enormous swathes of children unprotected from these horrible diseases and deaths of countless children from diseases that should have should by now be consigned to history.
Andrew Wakefield profited enormously from this study, at the expense of the lives of children from all around the world. Despite being universally discredited by the global medical community, he continues to peddle his anti-vaccine sentiments to a largely ill-informed audience for his own personal gain.
I would choose your heroes more wisely.
Happy to discuss this with anyone who doesn't share my view.

  26. Wakefield got his due I guess. Let's be clear here: The government is out to get you (as are the corporations) but they are a LOT more subtle than this and really they care about your money a lot more than they care about you/your child's wellbeing. Know the parameters of science. It can really help when trying to tell the difference between political manipulation and actual crisis.

  27. Getting mumps, measles and rubella naturally as a child provides lifelong immunity and reduced risks of cancer later in life.

  28. Vaccines are the most profitable drug sold by big pharma. Like big tobacco, big pharma will say and do anything and pay off congress and state governments to keep the gravy train rolling.

  29. I've tried to get my hands of some of these studies, for and against, but only get references to them by 3rd parties. I do not have a medical background, but I do have a solid foundation in statistics and I with many of the studies I have seen, I am appalled by the misuse of statistical analysis and the use of what I call "lawyer talk" to craft and imply claims that are not at all conclusive (both for and against). How can I rely on them without knowing how the studies were conducted, their sampling methods, length of time and control groups? What studies have examined the effect of the MMR in conjunction with the other dozen or so inoculations we now mandate for children?  What studies exist for the adjuvants in vaccines and their side effects?  Why don't vaccines face the same testing requirements as other drugs?    Perhaps there is no link between the MMR and autism according to the studies, but have any long term studies been done as to their possible effects on the auto-immune system? We are in the dark on so many of the claims made by big pharma and gov't agencies, is it any wonder that we, as a society, trust these authorities less and less.

  30. Maybe thats some kind of microevolution thing … with all the technology we have there is less need for socialising but more need to process data … but im just spitballing

  31. Anti vaxxers are more dangerous to humanity than any catastrophic events like global warming , asteroids or other shite …

  32. So all the evidence that even the government and the pharmaceutical companies have published is wrong as our to saying? Because the government has published studies that show a link between vaccines and autism. Pharmaceutical companies and their inserts which is the piece of paper that goes along with the vial of axinia that the doctor purchases warns of the danger of autism.

  33. I have been researching the link between milk and sunburn. If you live near the beach the milk makes sunburn worse. There is also for some unknown reason a spike in milk sunburn in summer. I will get to the bottom of this.

  34. Not one study, how about the CDC study that said children who got the MMR are seven times more likely to get isolated autism, the multiple independent studies done that have supported this claim as well as parental experience.

Or the fact that the supreme Court ruled that vaccines are unavoidable unsafe. Or maybe that vaccine manufacturers aren't liable for them, or that the United States vaccine court has paid over more than four billion dollars for vaccine injury.

  35. People dying taking the yellow fever vaccine in Brazil… they are actually contracting the yellow fever with the vaccine… but yes… I'm employed by Dr. Wakefield and receiving a paycheck from him, just incredible amounts of money to spread this hoax!

  36. Hmm this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d40suCKnjbI of wakefield is interesting.
I think the situation is a lot muddier than you are making out. you should look at the other side of an argument rather than just going for research that favors your side. It's funny form me it was when I found out that The drug used to treat ADHD in children is actually Speed. That crazy shit happens all the time in medical science.

  37. 4:28 That study doesn't 'debunk' Wakefields claims. Maybe you need to read it again
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2804764/

4:57 This is a Danish government study. It is from the Danish Epidemiology Science Centre in Aarhus
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1124634/

5:05 More government scientists. I though you said there were no governments involved in 'debunking' Wakefield?
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12415036

5:42 Yeah, that's from Priceton University which also gets it's money from the government. No government, eh?

If you think the idea that governments around the western world are conspiring is ludicrous then you should wonder why there is a lock-step homoglobo agenda. Why has homosexuality, gay marriage, transgenderism and now Drag Queen Story Hour spread like wildfire around the West? After thousands of year our government just all spontaneously in independently decided to foist this stuff on us? You really believe that? Keep taking the vaccines.

  38. in the first 58 seconds you talk about studies with twin and similars. but you don't says if those twins or those others cases were or not vaccinated. so what is the point? i mean those studies only could serve as a prove if those children weren't vaccinated and got the autism syndrome anyway.

  39. Dr Wakefield has since been proven correct by scientists at UC Davis. Dr William Thompson, senior scientist at the CDC and whistle blower, has come forward and confessed that his team discovered black male babies were 400 times more likely to get autism if they got the mmr early or as scheduled on the childhood vaccine schedule. how can you argue with the CDC ? there's too much evidence pointing to vaccines as the main cause of autism. but go ahead…make big pharma richer, take the chance with your child's health, but if your child is vaccine injured you can't sue the manufacturer. pretty serious stuff…are you going to trust the people making really big money on vaccines..CDC, vaccine makers, dr's, hospitals, fda etc. ? or are you going to investigate first for yourself. don't be bamboozled.. this is big tobacco all over again. read the untold history of vaccines, Dissolving Illusions, by Suzanne Humphries MD. watch thousands of parents describe their ordeal with vaccines on you tube's Vaxxed tv site with Polly Tommy. see the movie VAXXED. as a nurse, I urge you.

  40. Didn't know this was Rationality's video. Can't take anything you say seriously if you deny God. You're a fool.

  41. Antivaxxer Arseholes try to make Autism like a superpower from Marvel Comics!!!!!!!!! That’s fucking hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!! Autisman Autisman does whatever an Autisman can!!!!!!!!!!!

  42. Very disappointing debunking. You have just rehashed the narrative of the pharmaceutical industry and not tackled any of the salient issues. You have not presented any of the arguments from numerous researchers and medical professionals that are skeptical of the assumption that vaccines are safe and effective (enough to be forced on everyone). Wakefield never claimed that the MMR vaccine causes autism, he reported his findings that in the autistic children he found the vaccine measles strain in the gut, and not the wild measles strain. He was researching the gut, not vaccines, and was part of a team. The Lancet paper suggested that there was possibly a link between Autism and the MMR. He also never was anti -vaccine, and simply suggested that people should opt for three separate vaccines rather than the combined MMR. Within 1 year of his publication, the separate vaccines were no longer available, and MMR was being mandated.

Wakefield never admitted that there was any fraud. None of the other team members admitted to fraud, thou they did distance themselves from the study (for obvious reasons). Merk, GSK and most major pharmaceutical producers have been caught on various occasions, fudging results and manipulating data to get their drugs on the market. There have been court cases and fines. Do you trust them?

There are not thousands of studies on the vaccine / autism link, there are a few, and of course, it really depends on how you conduct a study.

  43. You need to revisit the vaccine debate. Wakefield asserted that the gut biome may have been linked to autism and affected possibly by vaccine. And also went onto say that "more studies need to be conducted"

  44. The mountain of junk scientific studies proving no link between MMR and autism have a build in internal flaw. They do not compare vaccinated against unvaccinated. There is not even one large credible study to compare vaccinated against unvaccinated. The premise is that such studies are unethical since it will deprive children from life saving vaccines. Dr. Plotkin, the Godfather of vaccines states that where there is no study he assumes safety. Of course Dr. Plotkin should not be talking about ethics in regards to vaccines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wk_sv2HiMa0
In the mean time the CDC performed a study with a statistically significant link between autism and MMR and criminally manipulated the data to hide said link. The CDC whistleblower Dr. William Thomson who did not destroy his papers on the study has been asking to be heard by congress to no avail.
The proof of the CDC's scientific fraud and the real story of Dr Andrew Wakefield's research paper is well presented in the documentary VAXXED. Check it out.
There are many drugs pulled of the market and their manufactures sued. Such was the case with vaccines. In fact it became so bad that the manufacturers approached the US government saying that they cannot keep making vaccines if they did not get immunity from law suits. It was given to them and the so called vaccine court was established so the public assumed liability for the vaccine industry . So who thinks that a vaccine industry being taken to court on a regular bases and loosing a lot of money, which is now immune from prosecution has any reason to improve the safety of their product and provide as with good science in regards to said product?

  47. First of all, Wakefield is not surgeon. Second, this is bunch of bullshit. Wakefield was contacted by the lawyer 6 months after the study begin. There are studies before and after the Wakefield study that confirms Wakefield's study. Why are you calling yourself Rationality rules, if you are confirming only one side of the story. You are an ideologist, not rational.

  48. Are all vaccines safe in all circumstances? Are vaccines the only medical intervention that has no unwanted side effects? Why have billions been paid out in the USA to people damaged by vaccines?

  49. Ugh, I love my country but WTF Trump. I really can't apologize enough for the results of the no child left behind act.

  50. 8:11 someone NEEDS to ALSO get this through to the President Of The United States. Here goes. HE SHOULD CEASE SUPPORT FOR AUTISM “$PEAK$”, DISAVOW AND DISOWN THEM AND SHOULD OFFER A TEAR FLOODING APOLOGY TO REAL AUTISTICS FOR HAVING SUPPORTED THEM FOR 12 YEARS COZ RIGHT NOW SUZANNE WRIGHT SHOULD BE IN COALINGA MENTAL HOSPITAL WITH A STRAIGHT JACKET ON HER WAIST AND A DRILL IN HER HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look I love Trump but I feel that seeing as he supports a VILE GROTESQUE “advocacy” CULT that his equally ableist DISGUSTING opponent from 2016 ALSO supports them I WANNA SEE THAT PUSSYGRABBER WEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he’s EVER going to win 2020 he NEEDS TO AND HE SHOULD DISAVOW AND SHUT DOWN AUTISM “$PEAK$” FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  51. a rational person would read the actual study and not take the word of those who will gain if the studies show a positive light on vaccines. such a sad channel.

  52. Its alittle contradictory to say Wakefield had conflicts of interest using a BMJ paper which has a correction on it disclosing the conflict of interest stating that "The BMJ Group receives advertising and sponsorship revenue from vaccine manufacturers, and specifically from Merck and GSK, which both manufacture MMR vaccines". Its fine to use but its something you conveniently left out yourself. https://www.bmj.com/content/342/bmj.c7452

  53. anyone who subscribe to this channel is just a fckn Idiot.. he knows science coz he type in google , make videos and think he is better than people who experimented the case.. fckn bollocks.. people who Subscribe to this channel should be worried how your critical thinking works.. most of you are Dumb who believe authorities to govern you life.. pathetic people with no testicles cant even question simple things in life

  54. Didn’t leaked papers from vaccine manufacturers say there was an issue? They could just prove it by doing a vaxxed vs unvaxxed or has it been done?

  55. So Andy Wakefield stated his 1998 study did not prove that the MMR vaccine caused Autism but that there was a correlation according to the parents when getting the vaccine and seeing autism like characteristic in their children. He never stated the children developed autism right after the vaccine, he states that there was autism like characteristics in the Childs behavioral. He also states that he looked over the pages of the safety study on the MMR vaccine and he did not think that the correct studies were made so he recommended getting the single vaccines instead of the 3 for 1 vaccine, MMR. He recommends that more research in depth should be conducted in the MMR and Autism link. Just from that statement, he had charges on him and when he went to court it was found that all the accusations for fraud was incorrect. Just like many things are said that environmental factors may be causing the increase of autism, one doctor states that there was a correlation between MMR vaccine and Autism, 21 years later it is still being discussed. In the last 21 years, the population that believes vaccines need to be more safe and have heavier regulations and the vaccine manufacturers should be liable for damages caused by vaccines instead of tax payer money(USA) also known as "The anti-vaxxers" is increasing.

  56. Has the vaccine vid been pulled from RR's page? Cause I strongly disagreed with him on it and had some more to post for him.. Anyone point me the way? My search for that vid has led me here thanks.

  57. First of all and apparently, you’ve never read research papers from medical journals. There are over 400 studies prove that Thimerosal is associated with neurological disorder diseases. Go to the prestigious journals like New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet and read. Also, go to Google Scholar and type “ Thimerosal and Autism “ and you will see hundreds of pages of research papers that prove correlation between vaccine ingredients like Formaldehyde and Aluminum as neurotoxic, gastrointestinal diseases like leaky gut, food sensitivities and much more.

You are not a pediatrician or a researcher to bring this faults information to social media audiences.

  58. Is it possible that Wakefield was set up ? I mean it’s pretty clear that when certain people challenge the status quo and start raising awkward questions then things can get pretty nasty. It’s a story as old as time itself and it’s still happening now.

  60. In my humble opinion the reason why siblings have a higher risk if the other has autism is because of the mothers gut bacteria. We are born with our mothers gut bacteria and if that is tickedy boo the child has a better chance of dealing with the toxins and if the gut is not 100%the child has difficulty processing the toxins with terrible results. You haven't looked at the statistics which show in America that the increase of vaccines coincide with the amount of kids with autism. Who are you? Do you have a medical or science qualification? If you are so confident why don't you take all 30 plus of the vaccines on line for us all to see. I do hope your children will be ok. I'm sure trump has done his research before he made that statement he's cleverer than you think and I would be very careful what you put out as a non science person as this is human lives you are talking about.

  61. WEB: The Ninth Circuit case, Fields v. Palmdale School District, was brought by parents who discovered that their seven- to ten-year-old children had been required to fill out a 79-question nosy questionnaire about such matters as "thinking about having sex," "thinking about touching other people's private parts," and "wanting to kill myself." The decision claimed that the purpose of the psychological sex survey was "to improve students' ability to learn." That doesn't pass the laugh test. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled on November 2, 2005 that parents' fundamental right to control the upbringing of their children "does not extend beyond the threshold of the school door," and that a public school has the right to provide its students with "whatever information it wishes to provide, sexual or otherwise."

  62. "There are significant risks associated with every immunisation and numerous contraindications that may make it dangerous for the shots to be given to your child….There is growing suspicion that immunisation against relatively harmless childhood diseases may be responsible for the dramatic increase in autoimmune diseases since mass inoculations were introduced. These are fearful diseases such as cancer, leukaemia, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's disease, lupus erthematosus, and the Guillain-Barre syndrome." — Dr. Mendelsohn, M.D.

  63. "Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and the whole panoply of childhood diseases are a far less serious threat than having a large fraction (say 10%) of a generation afflicted with learning disability and/or uncontrollable aggressive behaviour because of an impassioned crusade for universal vaccination…….Public policy regarding vaccines is fundamentally flawed. It is permeated by conflicts of interest. It is based on poor scientific methodology (including studies that are too small, too short, and too limited in populations represented), which is, moreover, insulated from independent criticism. The evidence is far too poor to warrant overriding the independent judgements of patients, parents, and attending physicians, even if this were ethically or legally acceptable." – Association Of American Physicians & Surgeons

  64. "Up to 90% of the total decline in the death rate of children between 1860-1965 because of whooping cough, scarlet fever, diphtheria, and measles occurred before the introduction of immunisations and antibiotics." — Dr. Archie Kalokerinos, M.D.

  65. "There has been a frightening increase in cases of autism that has not been explained. There are a number of anecdotal reports from parents that symptoms of autism have appeared close to the time of the (M.M.R.) vaccine." – Jane Orient, M.D., executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and clinical lecturer in medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and a professor of clinical medicine at the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine.

  66. "Two or three years ago there was a rash of positive H.I.V. and hepatitis patients in Baltimore among people who would otherwise not be expected to have a positive test. When studied all of these people had received the influenza vaccine four to six weeks prior and this was rapidly covered up by the press." — Dr. Eva Snead, Feb. 2000

  67. "This..forced me to look into the question of vaccination further, and the further I looked the more shocked I became. I found that the whole vaccine business was indeed a gigantic hoax. Most doctors are convinced that they are useful, but if you look at the proper statistics and study the instances of these diseases you will realise that this is not so . . . My final conclusion after forty years or more in this business [medicine] is that the unofficial policy of the World Health Organisation and the unofficial policy of the 'Save the Children's Fund' and … [other vaccine promoting] organisations is one of murder and genocide. . . . I cannot see any other possible explanation. . . . You cannot immunise sick children, malnourished children, and expect to get away with it. You'll kill far more children than would have died from natural infection." – Dr Kalokerinos M.D.

  68. I have autism and it always makes me upset when people try to use my condition as a way to justify committing manslaughter on their children, thanks for making this video
