Dr Sara McDevitt talks about the National Clinical Programme for eating disorders

-: The National Clinical Programme for Eating Disorders, it’s part of HSE’s strategy to try to improve the quality, the access, the value of its services in key areas of importance. And I think eating disorders were chosen to be one of those areas because of how complex they are and because, really, of a sense that there’s emerging evidence to say that there’s things we could do differently that could help improve the lives, the recovery of people with eating disorders, as well as have an impact on their families. So it’s a collaboration between the HSE and BodyWhys and the College of Psychiatrists in Ireland.
